Jokes aside, the treat against humanity isn't the humanoid robot who depends on barcodes to understand the relationship between objects. This can only help us lose our jobs or replace our soldiers with people controlling it with an occulist rift. The real threat will be when we design software that can learn all of humanities experience through different plugins. In other words, don't fear what the mechanical engineer can do, fear instead the software engineer.
