So they went Corsair way with their Ax 1600i that uses GaN for some time now and incredibly the ROG is cheaper with oled display + PCI Express 5.0: 559 $ vs 609 $ for the Corsair.
Good job!

I would rather having a GAN power supply that has lower wattage but fanless

Looks almost as big as one of my mini itx gaming rigs lol

I'm confused. This seems to be the same model that was available since 2022? Same model number and both saying Pcie-5.0 ready. What is different about this one?

Could be Seasonic but only on the presumption that - as you said - all ROG Thor PS are basically rebranded Seasonic - not sure -no review yet.
Anyway as it is the well known habit now you can find it for order at prices much higher than MSRP: lordkahless
I believe I read that the oem is Wentai.

It is.

Then NOT that interested, if it was Flextronics great, Seasonic good, but Wentai is a bit questionable...
