Asus seems to have massive issues with coil whining on their RTX 30 series cards. I am very sensitive to noise, so I keep myself away from their models for the time being.

It will become available sometime next year eventually. The cards are probably still on early stage being manufactured. There is nothing wrong on making announcements of products that are not available just yet.

That's nonsense. We know that there is a shortage on GPUs but this has absolutely nothing to do with the reviews. What will you do, when there is a card available at your local store or online-shop suddenly? You'll then be thankful that there was a review made here for that specific model which may impact your decision whether to buy this specific model or not.

When I went to order a 3080 the shop told me: 1 - Don't order the Strix, there hasn't been a single one delivered, not one, there's none incoming, and we expect none until maybe later in 2021. 2 - We won't sell any Gigabyte models since we have a 40%+ return rate due to defects. 3 - Companies like Asus are shipping us 3080s literally the day they're made. There's just jackshit as far as availability goes. It's nice to see more non-existent 3K series cards for sale. I was #31 or 32 in line in the backorder, at that one location, for a TUF 3080 OC, specifically that model, with almost as many orders not fulfilled for its non-OC variant. I got mine in 6 weeks and that was considered "good". Those who ordered Strix 3080s are still waiting. For PC users, it's kind of "whatever, I'll wait", the ones who got screwed over badly by scalpers are the console gamers... and anyone who wants a ticket to anything... or shoes.

Oh MY! Galax better look out for HOF series. what a sweet card (tho the size of Texas), perfect for all of those Asus Prime x570's. give me one of those Be Quiet silent base 500 in white, an Asus Prime Pro x570, and a couple of white PrimoChill radiators. oh yeah and a stencil of an Imperial Storm Trooper helmet
