yeah 1080p native needs to be phased out,no need to sell reconstructing it as an advantage. but it can run 1440p dlss and that isn't bad at all.if it was a 250 card that is.

Its a 1080p card, a good one . Proper vram size , it can be used in PCIE 3.0. Has all the features . It does't cost much more than 6500XT (as of now). Against it 6500XT looks like failure of a decade at least. Something like FX5200. I think it takes the crown.

Horus-Anhur:

1080p is still the most used resolution on Steam. By a huge margin.
With DLSS its not really 1080p, just an upscaled from 1440x810. That is lower resolution that 1280x1024

1440p native cards cost 800eur so yeah, this isn't terrible if it can do 1080p native and 1440p dlss at 400

Amd rx6500xt is destroyed. It should cost half the price of rtx3050. Amd should never release that card... Nvidia will dominate enthusiasts with 3090ti and budget gamers with 3050.
Pathetic if the only argument for the card is that the competition has produced something even worse. I am surprised that in the gaming world that has been completely screwed up by both corporations, there are still fans of these corporations. Especially today, when it is already known that the rumors about the lack of raw materials and problems with transport were nonsense, and the only reason for the current prices was selling all production to miners.

The output resolution is still the 1080p. And it´s still the most used resolution for PC gaming.

And real rendering resolution is from stoneage.

True. But many people still play with it.

The only reason this card exists and why we're having this conversation is because of GPU prices gone insane. The 3060Ti should have been the entry-level affordable enthusiast card this gen. No one into PC gaming should have even considered buying a lesser card. Don't defend these bs releases that should not serve as anything other than VGA out on a HTPC or a business desktop.

Only DLSS 1080p users play with it. 1440x810 . Most gpu dont have any problem with native 1080p, so not many people play with it

Consider that 66% of Steam user run 1080p. And almost 30% of Steam user own an RTX card. There's bound to be a significant overlap.

This is a 1080p card... I also have a 1080p monitor, unfortunately it turned out being an uninteresting card. *edit* turned out being an uninteresting* gosh my wording was bad.

You know I just found under my house two video cards 2017 and thought.. why not just sell them. Started price like $100. Both sell for allot more then the org msrp. . Its sad what people have to pay for today. We were bless got all our 3080 for msrp prices when lunched.

There's no reason to "phase out" 1080 at all. There's zero benefit to higher resolutions for most users.

DLSS and FHD 😀 rendering resolution that was used 20-years ago
1080p was not even a PC gaming standard resolution really till 2007-2008 because of the PS3 and Xbox360. 1920x1200 was not even mainstream, neither was 2560x1600. 16:10 was the king of the early 2000s for anyone not running a 5:4 1280x1024 monitor. You are very ignorant, pompous and just annoying. Who the hell cares if 1080p exist now and does in 10 years. Its still a solid resolution to game at for the masses. I truly despise anything 16:9 and wish everything was 21:9 but I don't go around saying 16:9 needs to dissapear.

I actually liked 16:10 and prefer it to 16:9.....but it's hard to find a 16:10 display in stores anymore and given that I can't seem to get packages delivered without shipping boxes almost completely destroyed, ordering one online isn't an option.

Nothing wrong with 1080/60 at all. Especially with current graphics card pricing....which really sucks cuz I'd love to upgrade my son's 5500XT to a 6600XT or 6700.....but I've paid less for cars than those cards are currently selling for. I'm running 1080 myself. It's a 144hz monitor, but it's only 23". Any higher resolution would just increase eye strain or add more configuration time than I care to deal with. Anything that adds complexity, isn't worth the effort these days. I'd rather just build the system, load Windows on it, load some games and start playing. Life's too short for unnecessary complexity. I had high hopes for the 3050 though....guess better than 1660Ti performance was just too much to ask for.

Wait they go on sale today? Maybe i cancel that 1070 bid i won and .. Would make sense if i can grab one at msrp. Edit:nevermind.

Plus another 10% from a quick OC.
