Nvidia should drop those bridges and look up to AMD for a change.

Why? The bridges don't really add anything harmful to a system, it's just a bandwidth manager pretty much.

Everything from ROG is more or less black (plastic) and red, and now they make aluminum bridges? Design fail.

No four way SLI option?

The first picture in the article is a 4-way bridge I don't like the fact that it needs its own power cable though. The LED can't require that much power.

Yeah, I feel the same way.

I prefer my EVGA custom SLI bridges. The red insignia of the Asus ones just don't go with Nvidia green theme

I have the Nvidia LED bridge. Looks pretty nice and matches the LED on my Video cards. I had the EVGA LED bridge but it's color was kinda blue and didn't look right with green LED's on the video cards.

"brushed-aluminum finish" = not real aluminum imo its just plastic colored "brushed-aluminum" to give premium feel

Even so, I still don't find it appealing. Make it black, and I might be interested. 😉

I actually prefer the Nvidia designed ones that compliment their stock coolers.

SLI bridges? This is so 2013 ... feels like someone is offering custom designed GFDs ...

I prefer the Geforce one: -
Im using this one, and it pretty awesome looking, plus you can change the lighting modes to make it flash/breath/etc. gives a nice touch to the GeForce stock logo. http://s29.postimg.org/78j3m4y51/logo.png but if I was going for a red color scheme, the asus one would looks pretty good too.

This is why I painted the crossfire bridge black when I had my 7950 crossfire. http://i.imgur.com/AZVWwXCl.jpg

Very nice, but too unflexible. For my next system I'm aiming at tri-SLI on a 7x 16x PCIe board with the cards in slots 1, 4 and 7 to give their coolers breathing space so that the whole thing stays relatively silent even without watercooling.

Nvidia will keep using the bridge just because AMD dropped it first.
