When this is mounted normally i.e. horizontal the shroud ASUS made will hide the fans. I very much want one of these. Its the perfect quiet 1440p gaming GPU.

It's that i moved to a Chromax Black/White theme with my new build, else i would have liked to have this. Used Noctua brown for nearly 15 years.

It's going to cost over 1000 euros over here, so this, like any other graphics cards now, is only of academic interest to me. Perhaps, if things ever get back to normal in the future, and if the Noctua+Asus cooperation continues, I'd seriously consider such a card from the next generation.

I'm kinda in love right now.. shame that it's only a 3070 and ASUS (extra expensive) :sadge:

I would love if more manufacturer worked with Noctua for GPU cooling and or even Artic cooling. cause general the normal solutions are just "adequate" general the artic coolers for gpu go above and beyond and are quieter and cooler i expect the same from noctua.... But not at that kind of stupid price, really bad time to even think about buy new gpu hw even worse time if your current one fails

That's one dope video card for sure. Awesome design.

If it were normal times, normal MSRP, it would likely be close to 3080 price. Pretty sure most ppl would just go for a 3080 with standard fans over this.

Sigh. Gimme a new bigger Arctic Accelero and 2x 140mm and I'll fix it much cheaper myself

While we don’t have an official date of availability or the pricing info for these GPUs, you can expect to get your hands on them starting mid-October 2021. If you are lucky enough to find it in stock, of course. As for the pricing, we expect them to be priced similarly to the other ASUS RTX 3070 GPUs on the market. There isnt anything that far out special with this in terms of cost that would push the price that much up. I dont expect it to be much pricier (MSRP) than a Stryx model.

The 'normal times' MSRP of the 3080 is $699, just $200 above the 3070. Would think the Noctua version would be considerably more than the Strix versions. Since there isnt that much difference of 3080 vs 3070 to begin with, I would think the 3080 would become more appealing vs a Noctua 3070.

Why would it cost so much? Noctua fans wouldn't raise the price more than 20 bucks. It would only cost an arm and a leg if it's treated like some kind of special product of very limited numbers. Of course if that's indeed what Asus is going for, then sure.

That is exactly why, every time I saw GPU equip with Artic cooling solutions the card had price add to worth more then it would cost just buy AC solution and install it my self. the general charge 100$ on top cost for part just so already on
