They're already dropping here in the netherlands. The price drops below started as early as May 16th for some models. 3060 from 950 to 650. 3070 from 1500 to 1000. 3080 Ti from 2500 to 2000. 3090 from 3200 to 2400. (prices are in euro's) Still very high, but it's going the right direction.

That alone is unacceptable in 2020's. If men's prices are dropping, women's prices should drop as well.

When the Red Dragon RX 580 drops back down to be under 300 again I will be happy... currently it sits at $700, it has dropped $100 in the past month or so I think.

Exept on Amazon and e-tailer it is droping everywhere since weeks (go outside in real world instead of looking those crappy vendor... you will save money). The recent ETH change and the drop in value that was deadly to a lot of late "trader farmer" (they invest at high price, then have to sell at 50% of what they get GPU to limit the lost... lol). Also the context of crypto are changing... (VISA decisions as an exemple). All good for now.

I finally caved and got a Gigabyte GeForce RTX 3080 Ti Gaming OC for ~2000 euros (I know, horrible, but still better than the MSI Suprim 3080Ti for 2800 euros which "luckily" was DOA and got the Gigabyte one instead with money back to "spare"). All I can say is, I really hope the prices will come down a LOT, and more actual GAMERS can get their hands on these cards.

Already seeing 6700XT's at 900$ so only 200-300$ drop and its back to normal.

The Gigabyte 3070 Gaming OC 8G dropped another 100 euros since yesterday here in the Netherlands, it's now down to โ‚ฌ899. Going pretty rapidly now.

Ah, that sucks. Take a peek at used market there there could be some better deals. Anyway that red dragon is not even a good model to get.

It's the only 580 on pccasegear xD I've looked at some used cards, they are all still scalper levels of idiocy.... even oldold junk is being sold overpriced... just opportunists everywhere.

Most second hand RX 580's are between 350 and 400 Euro's here.

Prices also seem to be lowering here in Portugal but very slowly. That means that soon the market is going to be flooded with new and used GPUs and the prices are going to be even lower than the official prices from Nvidia and AMD!!! Yes, i know iยดm daydreaming but still...

You can get a 1660 or 1070 for the same price, almost.

Chances are miner cards and abused gamer cards are starting to sell Or maybe the unobvious fact to Asrock that summer time is here so less demand. And Might as well buy brand new from trusted dealer rather than paying twice for sht.

I juts saw Amazon starting to restock soon the RX 6700 XT from their own and the price was $999.99, ig we just need to wait a little bit more ๐Ÿ™‚

this gen can kiss my ass at this point. I bought a placeholder 1070 in the meantime and I'm not buying ampere or rdna 2 that late. power hungry, vram limited on nvidia side and struggiling to catch up with turing on amd's side as far as features like rt and dlss. if my 3080 finally arrives I'm selling it before the window for making profit on those cards is gone. if intel comes out with a 16g card, their own ML image reconstruction on a power efficient node I'm fine with getting it and waiting for the drivers to mature.

Manufacturers will use some excuse to keep there MSRP high mostlikely Last gen was expensive enough this gen got more expense and mining didnt help the cause canse manufactor capatilzed on that then it got more power hungry which was enough for me to say no. Even 3060ti draw more power then me 1070ti

I envision a near future where some will beg to sell their GPU. And I'll say: Can you lower even more? That's a bit overpriced!
