Ad hominem? Srsly?
I would have thought Apple with its money would use a legal defence better than that...

It's fun to see two multi-billion companies act like toddlers.

But Apple is right this time. EGS suck and it's just a consumer trap. I always go GOG -> Steam -> gates of hell -> EGS.

That's an unusual defence for a company that is accused of using a monopoly to overcharge customers and vendors ... ie look how much profit Apple makes compared to the complainant.
Only Apple and it's lawyers could be tone deaf enough to do that.

Apple might be right in what they say, but that has actually nothing to do with the lawsuit / counter lawsuit, I'd believe. Maybe it has to do with it to a small extent, but the statement itself is just polemic.

FFS Apple. It's none of your fucking business how Epic runs EGS. Hell, it doesn't do jack in proving anything.

Apple's lawyers are digging themselves in a hole by needlessly speculating Epic's profit margins. There are many counter-arguments that would hurt their integrity, as if ad-hominem alone wouldn't do that.
Where they do have a valid argument is that their marketplace does warrant some value. Doesn't mean it's fair or that they should charge as much as they do, but part of what you (as either a consumer or a developer) are paying for when using their marketplace are the regulations and (as stupid as it sounds) exclusivity.
EGS isn't the last store I'd get my games from but it is toward the bottom. I think I took 1 or 2 of the free games back when they first started doing that, only to realize I'm wasting my time as I'll probably never sign in; I haven't so far.

I've been playing Fortnite with my son (9), who is really into it. As a 43 year old, I'm surprised how much fun it is. I've probably put 200 hours into it over the last year and they got me to buy a few items from their shop.
I can see why they're losing money hand-over-fist. Fortnite is this huge cash cow for them right now, and they can afford to burn the profits they're making from it to establish a foothold in the marketplace. I don't understand how anyone can think more competition is a bad thing...

Its free. Gamecopyworld is still thriving.
Get the EGS game, to go Gamecopyworld to get a free legal crack, no more EGS needed for game.
