I'd rather buy a sub 200€ phone and use the rest to build a gaming PC.
But for people buying this, money won't be an issue.

The specs are pretty good from CPU, screen, camera, etc. Now if they can just get the price down. Maybe we will see this sell next year with there famous rebradning for cheaper once the next phones come out an XSE version or likes. For me that is way to steep. I admit I use iphones mostly because I'm in tech and an enthusiast so the last thing I want is to jack with configuring a phone so I just go for the dumb down phones that just work. Personal thing I know everyone is different.

I was hoping they would find a way to incorporate Touch ID... nope. It's going to be a lot more inconvenient using your face for mobile payments and authentication.

Gotta love that marketing, still saying they invented the smartphone. Tim even claimed they invented screens you could touch today.

LOL So they basically copy the LG G6 and thin out the border more but still stay 16:9. Screw Apple. And they still dont even have a wide angle camera on Overpriced Iphones.

Looks more like they copied the "Essential" phone than the G6.

The G6 was one of the first in recent time that went for the rounded off screen edges. That's why I made that comparison. It one of the reasons I bought the G6, plus I love LG phones and how much they update them. Even the G5 is getting Andriod 8 and it started off on Android 5.

£1149 here... how or why anyone would buy this is beyond me.... Apple just trying to get as much money out of their fanboys as humanly possible.... it is now in the price range of a mid-high range PC... i'd rather buy the new Sony XZ would cost me 50% less and perform better and actually have a decent battery life

Samsung supplying the OLEDs is hilarious (at least that's what a lot of tech blogs have been reporting)

Don't be so sure. There are people out there keeping their iphones all day long on hands for people to keep seeing them in order to avoid they wear shoes with wholes.

Imagine the lolz if you accidentally got a thick lip or swollen eyes and the phone says, NO not you. It say's ones eyes must be open for it to recognize the user. I can imagine many scenarios that may effect the users ability to even unlock their own phone.
Honestly it's cool for kids to want the new tech an all but my daughter can get to F if she thinks she's getting one of these(@ that price at least), i think we are still paying for the one before still on soft arse here's bank account.
