One slide says up to 20h battery life, the next says up to 18h battery life: what gives? Would never buy this, specially after they forgot how to properly do cooling with not so old models. That and making sure no one can get spare parts to fix them so they can claim water damage and sell a new laptop. PS: After watching the mac presentation I now know: Mac Air is 18 hours and Mac Pro 20 hours. Knowing Apple, if you really want a Mac, go with the Air: passive cooling equals less problems.

The M2 is just an incremental update to the already powerful M1. I don't see any compelling reason for existing Macbook Air or Pro owners to upgrade besides the small performance improvement since battery life is the same as M1. That being said, for now nothing comes close to the performance per watt of ether apple SOC in the PC world. Intel has the performance crown but their CPU's are power hungry and AMD is not much better. You have to hand it to Apple for pushing the industry forward in terms of low power high performance SOC.

Powerful for native ARM apps, garbage if you need to emulate anything x86.

Anyone know when the next major Apple event is? Wondering if we'll hear anything about VR later this year, or not until 2023.
