I would not rule out TNs completely. Good ones nowadays are not the same as those of a few years ago that gave TNs a bad name. This one I believe is 8-bit so should have decent color reproduction. Viewing angles are not an issue to many, incl me. And even on that front its improving. Just the 60hz vs others that are 120hz could be the deal breaker here.

My panel is 8bit and TN and the color is way better than the VG278HE tn 6bit I had before, I notice a big difference actually. This aoc model would suit people who are short on funds for a more high end model, as it's still 1440p and 1ms still fairly decent.
