After a lot of consideration, went with the BenQ GW2470H for that sweet VA contrast ratio and good color reproduction. Watching a couple movies did reveal significant quality improvement over my 144Hz TN panel but it did require some fiddling with settings to obtain full range color enabled, in the monitor GUI and nvidia/intel graphics settings.
