Lol now it looks like the 2002 Myst Edition...must have been fun to make, though.

I actually expected some 3D modern day graphics that would make it lose all of its personality and charm but I was pleasantly surprised here, this was cool.

i hoped the tentacle in the water would grab the kid, but nooo... :P

I thought this was a great piece of homage to the original... especially for those of us who remember when the game first launched.

Great gaming moments are very much like certain music or good/bad things that happen in our history, You never forget where you were or what you were doing at the time of exposure.... In some bedroom far far away in a place in England in 1991, There were 4 hardcore gamers including myself all stoned off our face on Cannabis, My one friend pulled out of his pocket a 3.5 inch Amiga Diskette that had the words Another World scribbled on it(Yes it was a Pirate), The game had not even been released in England yet. We were all blown away by the intro and the game, one of the first games where you actually felt like you played or belonged to part of a movie with intermittent cutscenes that today are used as standard. We all raced to see how could finish it first over the next week or 2. Another World or Out of this World as it was known on the Megadrive(it was easier on megadrive)did it first and set the benchmark for many cutscene games that appeared on the Amiga(Flashback) and even Playstation 1 many years later. 1991 was one of the best years for gaming ever if not the best for innovation with likes of Secret of Monkey Island, Jimmy whites snooker,PGA tour gold,Populous 2, Knights of the sky, Formula One Grand Prix(Crammond), Gods, Hunter, Alien Breed, Lotus 2, Panza kickboxing, Heimdall and there were many many more, Even though things have moved on very much since then, 1991 was gamings finest year for me and Another world was also released that year, I have never seen a year since with so much innovation and originallity with killer gameplay, definitely a Golden year for me.

This would be a nice kickstarter for a proper part 2 of this game. I always wanted to see a good ending for this game.

Bentwaters? Wasnt that where the UFO landed in the forest 2 or 3 times in 1980 while Col Charles Halt was in command if i remember?
