No need for that, Intel has all the RTG staff they need already 😉

Right, but maybe they forgot their papers.. On a serious note, does this expose all security flaws, so attacker can create virus based on arch source documents? PS5, Xbox are less safer now?

Or it can make driver level game hacks. That's only problem. When you have source code, you do modifications you need and compile driver which gets installed. (As long as you can get it signed.) But even I did few testing signatures on modded intel's drivers. (Just requires Windows 10 to be in given mode.)

On brighter note maybe we will see faster emulators of new consoles on PC.

I wouldn't want to be the person responsible for the hacked workstation/server (though for all we know, that person might have already long since got a new job at Intel). That is, if it turns out that's indeed the source. It would be kind of foolish just to take the supposed hacker's words as the truth. Who knows how the data leaked out in reality.

I thought the same, never trust a thief when he tells you that found the door open...

Embarrassing for AMD, and a worry for MS/Sony as hackers get an early head start on hacking the next consoles, but not really worth any money. Certainly not to Intel/Nvidia who would gain very little by getting this information but loose an awful lot if they were caught in possession of it. On a side note now so many are working from home I'd expect more leaks as secure workstations end up on the same network as much less secure home pc's.

Pay 100M for the data, and another billion for patent infringement 😀
