Yeah but if it costs US $649.99 It'll be only for the smallest ITX cases considering the price.
Not recommended for the people who have a big or huge ITX case (BitFenix, Phanteks).
I used to have a Gigabyte 970 ITX in a Coolermaster Elite 110 case (small/mid ITX case). Almost reaching thermal throttle (79C) in Winter and entirely throttled in Spring/Summer.
So a 960 was a better option for that case or maybe this Fury Nano (with more performance).

If it costs that much, it's indeed intended solely for those who absolutely need a tiny card and money isn't an issue. All in all Fury pricing at large makes me think AMD (GlobalFoundries) can't manufacture the chips in excessive quantities and thus they are selling as much as they are able to produce despite the high prices. But then again, they wouldn't be making much profit if they always set their prices considerably cheaper than Nvidia. I don't see them raising their market share this way, though.

Maybe AMD don't have many Nano's the high price will reduce sales. Or the price is wrong.

if it does what AMD tell us :stewpid:...
then they have the worse line designer in the world as 1 and maybe 2 GPU in the Fury line, are in concurence in price and/or in performance (on a gen line of only 3 videocard !!!) :3eyes:.
so i wait after the guru3D review... until that:
it is cute 🙂 (i love itx's stuff)

Would like to point out that it is supposed to be UP-TO 30% faster than 970mITX.
And gtx 980 is 10~25% faster than gtx 970 based on game.
From AMD's slides it is more like 20% faster in most cases, so I would put it at best 5% above gtx980 in average.

All this guessing about pricing makes me laugh. All one needs to remember is that AMD has said, at Furry launch, that initial supplies are going to be low. With price and supply having an inverse relationship, all the Furry lineup is going to be priced higher than they would normally have been. Also, comparing prices with Nvidia's cards, that are not supply restricted, is pointless. Simple fact, these cards are going to be priced higher than usual because there is not going to be enough to go around.

Is it only me, or anyone else wouldn't buy it even if it cost 300USD

So it would be probably on par with GTX 970 at 1,5 GHz or maybe not quite. It probably has no overclocking potential though. At that price I don't think it's a good buy.

Your paying for the size and power efficiency though, you could base a really small but powerful PC around one of these.
Saying that, I'm not convinced there is huge market for these type of cards in that price range.

Pretty much, I don't imagine it's any different with Mini ITX cards either.
The prices might be wrong, but it makes sense if it actually is just a full Fiji card.

I think most were expecting this to be a budget card therefore a lot of people might be disappointed that this wasn't aimed at more lower end markets than the fury/fury x.
It's good performance for small builds but doesn't help those who were looking for something to stomp on the 970/390 for the same/similar price point.

Lots of heat in a small package
With that much work going on in such a small area, you can count on lots of heat and subsequent fan noise.

I think when VR hits off, especially with Valve/SteamOS this can be pretty decent for that. AMD needs to work on it's linux drivers though.
