That's $607-$776. How's that supposed to sell when the 290X is $550...

the 290x is 550 euro in germany. hardware prices are calculated at a 1:1 exchange rate. that tends to be the case for most of continental europe afaik. price difference seems to be at around 100 euro which is fine

fist listing has come up on one of Australia's IT stores and is said to be in stock (XFX branded). $25 difference between it and lowest priced 290X. Though XFX in Aus the one of the more expensive brands. and the 290x (PowerColor) is the cheapest branded here. so id expect a defference closer to $75 for the majority. And this store is one of the more expensive IT stores.

290X can be ordered for as low €465 atm, list price should be about €480. €399 before taxes was the word for 290X.

yeah, but to be fair, thats only for warehouses that ship it in 3-4 weeks. average prices sit at around 539. hell, you can get it as expensive as 700. not sure what its like in the nl but germany tends to have some pretty retarded and inconsistent pricing for hardware e: i wouldnt count on geizhals to get an accurate idea of what the pricing in europe will actually be

$399 was speculated. Performed math the 780 on some games, but slapped the silly out of the 770. 770TI <-- NV? 😛 oh well, couple more days. couldn't waited for the review. 🙁

pre-release, it was the same with R9-290x @ geizhals.. Look at R9-290X now, the cheapest @ geizhals is for 465€. edit:

This card (R9 290) should be less than 400. I would say 350 Euro.
