32 concurrent users, I think it is more like AMD's SKY series which were meant for cloud based gaming for multiple users per GPU. Those had dual GPUs too. This should provide 32 users with same desktop experience as if they had that GPU locally. That's quite some HW virtualization. And since it is multi user card, 16GB per chip is not a problem. If it was meant to be single user, then that user should consider it as just 16GB. But in case of shared resources, one can't really expect to have 4+ GB for himself at all times anyway.

Something tells me this will be paired with a nice phat 32c/64t TR2! 🙂

It can run 64 instances of Crysis!

I've been wondering where the dual-GPU AMD cards are for a while now. I've had great success with the 295x2, HD6990 and my old 4870x2. OK, they did always run at close to 100c, but they kept your feet warm at least!

Dual GPU again? I thought that was dead...well, it is for professional use so hopefully software will be developed for those applications. Where are the gaming parts AMD?!

That's Navi in 2019.

Why this card would be specific for `Oil & Gas` ???? It was always Video / Cad / Gaming. Now this one what it is?

So back to the old GTX 690 days where people were trying to convince themselves they had a 4gb card?? More smoke and mirrors on paper if you ask me. Maybe all of that ram would be addressable in a professional environment, but most likely not on a consumer level "gaming" card. I really want some new hardware from both teams right now.....!!

Don't worry, the next year downgraded mining version of this GPU will be named "gaming GPU". LOL

most likely the "AI" part of it all like Nvidia is doing with their tensor cores. I just want some slamming new hardware to hit that's ground breaking!!

So basically dual vega in crossfire; I wonder if two can be paired for quad crossfire, although seems very un-economical money wise
