ops. nvm

And people said HBM isnt gonna make a difference. "Memory bandwidth isnt the issue, even 256bit card is enough". I all i see here is that AMD 4GB beats nvidia 12GB for probably half the price. Now we need 390X 8GB. 😀

Actually I think that HBM makes quite some difference. That is why people overclock memory, because it increases real world performance. Mostly not in as linear way as overclocking GPU, but it does improve performance. HBM has dual command queue, lower latency and boost in total bandwidth. That alone can make card perform 10% better or more. But if AMD steps to 8GB space, and will use lower but faster compression for data (big bandwidth available, spare space too), then it may improve performance even more as it reduces latency and memory controller complexity.

According to those charts, the king of value is the 295x2 for price/performance! Unless the 390x or 980/Ti drops/launches in price relative to that to make it more buy able or those that need 4K + performance. Titan X actually makes the rest of the AMD lineup look like a bargain. I am definitely waiting for Hilbert's review when its ready. Its going to be an incredible summer for gamers this year!

No one knows if the 390X is faster than the TX.

Don't see 980 Ti in the Graph anywhere? Or a 960 Ti for that matter.

They're both in the graphs!

It´s the cut gm200.

To be honest 980ti looks sweet. If pricing is reasonable (500$+) 6GB Vram looks like a great card. Not Titan crap for tripple the price...

Can you be so kind and download "release driver" (that old driver which got out with your GTX 780). And benchmark that against your current ones? You know that lovely posts like 64% boost (one sees them quite often with nVidia). Confirm that for yourself, because sites which did this comparison are quite sceptical. lol, if you got 64% performance boost from a driver, someone at NVIDIA driver coding HQ was extremely lazy with the previous releases
Isn't that the DX Driver update though? I got a huge performance increase in a number of CPU bottlenecked games with that one. NFS: Rivals prior was dropping into low 30fps with the 60fps fix, now it easily holds 60fps with 1.5x render scale, so I can believe a 71% increase in ****ty ports like that.-

LOL, even though thats the first post mantle driver nvidia performance driver, 64% is freaking laughable. I certainly did not get anywhere near that boost with 780ti sli.

This article demonstrates one thing only - that people are so desperate for news about these cards that anything - no matter how little evidence there is for it, will immediately shoot around the Internet within hours. But that said - a 12GB card. I'm sure this has been said but whilst it's not bad that it has it, I can't see it delivering much practical benefit. Not any time soon.

why they got more fps in higher resolution with all other settings and hardware unchanged?
It's based on % percentages, not on FPS. Read the paragraph above the charts. It confused me for a second too.

Witcher 3 uses physX, so for me I would have to choose NVidia. Argue all you want, its a must for me.

Physx? I though its dead. Looks like some people still care...

is the 390x strictly using liquid cooling or is that just only for the reference model?

17 fps slower than 390x , prolly much hotter since its air cooled , and pretty much same sell price, and it looks sweet?! ahhaha The king has arrive specially with the version of 8Gb witch isn't in the charts , because that will absolutely destroy anything. And that will be the "secret" weapon of AMD to hit and kill anything that Nvidia come out until 2016+.
oh yeah, inb4 Titan X 11.5/5.5 GB vram, 390x power plant electricity consumption etc... I for one am looking forward to both cards (or 4 cards if we count a 390 and a "cut down" Titan X) but i'm affraid that both (especially the Titan X) will break not only benchmark but also wallet records. :wanker:
Actually the titan-x have the same memory "problem" as the 9xx has it haves the same design. And anyone that that dares to speak about 390x power consumption , remember the titan is 30w less only, thats the same as a low cost light bulb= 1$/€ in the electricity bill in the end of the month .
