liquid cooled + fan, 300 watt card I'm not sure how much voltage and clock is takes the 980 to pull 300. but daddy like 🤓

Let's hope not! It would make it more expensive and that cooling solution is kind of sucky when it comes to fitting it in a PC case.

If this means anything my OC'ed 780GTX @ 1215mhz (score ~5440X) can eat up to ~ 300W+ for sure and its Zotac custom AMP cooler keeps it ~ 70-72C at somewhat quiet mode - auto fan never goes 70% (that's 2400rpm)

just got my 290x for christmas but will be ditching it for the newer cards when they come out .... I may wait a bit for a slight price drop but i wont wait too long.. lol
