19 models???
WHY???
Anyone remember the days when a new product came onto the market and there was just one model, sometimes three; 'like high medium and low? 19...that's just killing the market.

"Unable to explain why so many products were necessary, Jobs asked his team of top managers, "Which ones do I tell my friends to buy?" When he didn't get a simple answer, Jobs got to work reducing the number of Apple products by 70 percent. Among the casualties was the Newton digital personal assistant."

I would just rather buy a blower rx5700 at that price.

I had a original release Powercolor Red Devil 5600 XT. It will not run correctly with the updated bios (lockups, video tdr failures etc) . Card is very unstable with the memory clocked at 1750. I am not alone as I've seen other posts by users with other brands of 5600 XT that are having similar issues when they update the cards bios. I returned mine to Powercolor and they sent me a new one and the new one still didn't have the new bios. It is running prefect like it is and I'm afraid to flash it.

Nice.. another product you need a private detective to know what you're buying.

For those who cannot be bothered to read, this is simply nothing more than an official list from an official announcement. Otherwise, nothing has changed and no, there are not 4 different levels of the 5600XT, *sigh*. (Be my guest and correct me, if I am wrong.)

Oh for fs... it's not about 19 different models.
It's about AMD officially ninja editing some 5600 XT models to 14Gbps.

AMD announced on May 4, 2020 (local time), a graphics card, the "Radeon RX 5600 XT" in a version compatible with a memory data-rate of 14 Gbps. That doesn't mean there won't be 12 Gbps SKUs, just a number of cards support 14 Gbps by BIOS update or can be purchased like that

If the 5600 XT would have released with the correct bios in the first place with the proper MSRP it would have been a home run.

there are major caveats to the 14Gbps VBIOS updates on existing cards.
For example, the Gigabyte 5600 XT Gaming OC only allows the 14Gbps revision to cards in the F1-F10 VBIOS range. Most of the sold revisions of this GPU run an F60 VBIOS that DOES NOT permit the FA0 or F2 revisions per Gigabytes instructions. I know, because I purchased this SKU from Micro Center on 4/16 and learned the hard way. It was incredibly misleading. The F60 VBIOS rev isn't available on Gigabyte's website but can be pulled from TechPowerUp's VBIOS database.
There should be a huge disclaimer on Guru3D's article letting people know how shifty actually getting a 14Gbps revision to work can be.
