60GHz "wifi" is capable to do 4.6Gbps = 0.575GB/s. That's not small volume of data.
There is one interesting thing about headsets. Electronic is completely stuffed into it. But what if all processing stuff was on waist/belt attached device. And headset was lightweight device with just display.
Cellphone displays do not need much electronics to show stuff, nor are they connected via dozens of wires.
