Only thing i'm interested for is TjMax on this CPUs. If it's same as x models, as a biggest AMD fanboy ever, i have to say i will pass this gen.....

If I may inquire: - Are you under NDA of sorts? When does it lift? - Did you get review samples? - Did you guys at the team have a good transition to the new year? 😀

On my last upgrade, some X models were cheaper than the non-X ones, lol. What's up with that?

Now prices are finally where they should be. DDR5 price is dropped alot only issue are the motherboards. I may finally upgrade my 3800x.

Mobo makers are ruining AM5 adoption for everyone!

If only boards are cheaper am5 adoption would be alot better. What happened with Bx50 series boards being 120-150$? 🙁

I hope You are right! I can't stand the thought that my CPU is running at 95 degrees celsius. I will only wait for some MBO prices to drop, and everything will be ready for the upgrade.

That was never gonna happen. First we'll get 7800/XT and probably will have to wait another quarter year after that for the 7700/XT. I'm waiting for the 7600/XT so it will be a long year...

Tj max is the max temp allowed. Intel has a max temp of 90-100 C depending on CPU model. You can always choice you own max temp in bios, if you do not like the 95 C. Look up ECO mode on the CPU, a non X looks to have the same TDP as the X version configured to ECO mode, so that will give you a very good idea of the temps. Short bursts could be higher temps, but a good aircooler should be good enough for most loads. This guy is using a tiny low profile ITX Noctua cooler on a 7950x and still gets 33.000 points in Cinebench, at game load the temps would be much lower. [youtube=X2lmFNbOHSA]
