Got to be faster than a 1660 super with that price tag....I hope it is.

It will be. AMD will charge more if it's better/faster. However, if you want it for that price you better order it on 1/21/2020. If this card becomes an on demand card I can see retailers charging much more.

5500xt under 200$, 5600xt under 300$, 5700 under 400$ and 5700xt under 450$, are the absolute choices with those price tags for any gamer or regular user out there. AMD has no immediate worries.

Yeah if it trounces the 1660i in every benchmark review out there I can see a demand for it. When are the reviews?

Thats a very fair price for a card that should rival the 1660 Ti and possibly 2060.

According to AMD slides it is 5% up to 25% percent faster than 1660ti, depending on title. I believe it is possible considering it has the same power as 5700 down-clocked. RTX 2060 as 15% faster average than 1660ti should be equal depending on titles tested. All in all, under 300$, it's amazing!

$50 too expensive. AMD is really taking the fight to Intel but damn they just don't want to apply any pressure to Nvidia at all. Nvidia cards are simply better right now. They use less power, they have Nvenc, Gsync, and Gamestream. Really feel all the 5000 series cards are $50 overpriced. Everything since Radeon VII has been very disappointing.

Yeah it really does depend on the title these days. AMD and Nvidia both have edges in certain games, benchmarks should be very fun to read/watch.

Pricing is OK. All AMD's RDNA gpus gamut at the moment are below 500$ segment. Even AiB ones if you seek best prices out on the market. Now they offer you a gpu that destroys RX590, 580, gtx 1060, gtx 1660 (non ti) under 300$. What did you expect, to cost 100$? Chill out. 🙂 As I mentioned above, you can buy all 2019-2020 Radeon gpus released, from little less than 200$ up to 450$. You choose, your weapon.

Are you insane? that price is real nice. They are a company and need to also make a profit. AMD is not a charity man. That pricing is excellent and it is going to probably match the rtx 2060 considering it is a cutdown 5700 which beats an rtx 2060

Seems like some people are living under a rock. There is a rumor that nvidia is working on card that will perform just as good as 1660Ti for only 230$. I think name is supposed to be 1660 Super... Oh wait... It is hard to say if price tag on 5600xt is good until we see some real reviews. If someone is using WoW to compare GPUs, you know there is something wrong with comparison...

Although I don't trust any company slides I will give AMD a benefit of a doubt that they would out right lie that the 5600xt wasn't beating the 1660ti. I am pretty sure it will. Now what games and by how much is yet to be seen. We have to wait for reviews. And watch out dubious reviewers. These are the games I will be looking at in reviews: PUBG Apex Fortnite Destiny 2 MW 2019

Really AMD? This will help 1660Super sells... 229 vs 279 for %10-15... Save a bit more and get 5700, or get 1660S... What are you guys doing at AMD headquarters?!

Get a life. It is a more expensive and strong gpu than 1660ti, it rivals 2060 and it will only lose to 2060 super, now tell us Mr headquarter the price of rtx 2060 super or launch price of old rtx2060. Go get some sleep plz. You earned it, dreaming.

Funny that you are so confident in the card's performance, and you're taking this so personally. Are you Mr headquarters?

For sure I do not expect gpus to be given for free from any company or corporation. People here believe that AMD owes them a damn thing. It is not their problem if we cannot afford something. We have no right to expect them go bankrupt to satisfy our personal needs. Reality is ruthless pal.

Sticking a bit close to your paymaster's script there 😉

And you believe here that you are gurus with knowledge around technology and market? Am I right? 5700 XT is equal, slower or faster than 2070 super at about 100 bucks cheaper. 5700 is equal, slower or faster than rtx 2060 super and around 50 bucks less, What do you want? What's your problem, I don't get it, really. I am stunned. Depending on title, you win so much by buying amd gpus.

Weren't you cheering 8 months ago that the 2070S is 6% faster than the 5700XT even if at 30% higher price?

I wonder if there will be versions of the 5600XT with 14gbps ram chips for 336GB/s bandwidth (if at the same memory clocks)? I reckon this card is going to be bottlenecked by memory bandwidth and overclocking gains will be on memory more than core clocks for this card
