Yeah still a bit of a shortage here though some of the bigger stores are periodically restocked but just about anything is either sold out or there's a bit of a extra on the pricing but still selling out fast. Not in a huge need of a CPU upgrade but I like what AMD's doing and what could be next with Warhol and then if that's Zen3+ or something after that there's AM5 I suppose with Zen4 proper and how that could improve on this even further. 😀

this is another fantastic thing AMD is doing for their customers. 5000 series are selling as fast as they're shipped, the demand is impressive. the last time i remember this much excitement over a CPU was the Intel Kentsfield Core 2 Quad, which went on to cement a decade of dominance.

I can imagine the demand being good but the lack of stock is due to covid19.

not completely. Covid has screwed logistics, true. but production is at full tilt and TSMC has several fabs running @ 7nm. Apple is having no issue with TSMC 5nm M1, or A14 Bionic processors

Decade? It's been my main CPU for 13 years now. Best ROI in a purchase I ever had in my life. 😀
