VRAM need: ~8400MB " Lul , wut ?? : )) ... and here I am with 2560x1440 max textures , shadows and most things but under 3GB VRAM(2.6-2.85 GB) and play at 45-50+ fps on my GTA 780 : )) I think you mean 3.4 .. maybe 4.4 with absolutely everyhing maxed ... but that's about it ...

Yeeeeah I think you are looking at gtx 980/970 4gb cards in sli mode which the game reports as double the amount.....way to not think in a logical manner

You're using under 3GB of VRAM because you only have 3GB of VRAM. It would be like saying X game barely uses 3GB of RAM when you have 4GB available. (I'm leaving 1GB for the OS). Because at that point you will be paging data out to the hard drive. Or the game will just crash because some guy on the internet told another person on the internet to disable the pagefile to gain a performance boost. But that's an entirely different story.
