So without Chai Tea, I mean Chia mining these SSDs would have never come?! How come all of the sudden we see SSDs with that much of total write volume? It looks like the users did not deserve these SSDs until now but when the money started talking... 😡

I'm guessing the 1TB drive is a 4TB drive cut down to run in SLC mode aka pseudo SLC.

I like how this is the 3rd manufacturer I think who is coming up with Chia based SSD and there is no price or release date 🙂 . I don't see how these ssd drives will be cheaper than enterprise ones, makes no sense if they are since they use the same technology.

With a 5-year warranty, I don't think Chia mining is the target market. Speaking of which, that's a really good warranty!

Man would have been awesome if you could choose for example a 4tb drive to flash it or use a company tool to tuen it to what ever you like like fake slc or fake mlc or tlc ! I would gladly grab such a drive and run it mlc for 2tb !
