They announce connectivity options and response time for the XG model, but not for the XB-gsync model..
Nonetheless, I'm still excited on how this 144hz IPS panel performs.

Are both monitors IPS 144Hz? If so then woah, I like my good ol' Dell U2711, and even though it's also 27" and 1440p IPS, the 144Hz refresh rate and gsync from these badboys is awesome! Now if only someone would release a 1440p, IPS, 144Hz, g-sync AND a bigger size (preferably over 30") now THAT would be an instant buy for me. Even so, these 2 are very appealing as well.

I'm not sure, there both WQHD and there both 144Hz, however I think one is IPS (one with round stand) and the other maybe a TN panel, problem is is that I like the aesthetic of the red one with the thin bezels and I think thats the TN

Finally, a G-Sync IPS monitor.
However, I didn't expect the 144Hz, and I think the price will be much higher because of that feature.
Maybe a 120Hz monitor can be cheaper.

You can't use ulmb and g-sync together. It's one or the other.

U think there is any hope that dell will release a u3014 gsync upgrade kit? I can't give up this monitor even tho i rly want a faster response time g synch wouldnt be a bad compromise if i can get it

I almost wonder if the 144Hz on the IPS monitor is an accident when writing the article...I almost don't believe it really
If this wasn't Acer I would be really really excited about this...have they improved as a company recently? I haven't bought acer stuff in about 8 years but before that their stuff (monitors, laptops) was absolute garbage

Not sure about the price, as it's Acer, maybe it's not overpriced.

This monitor looks nice, IPS with Gsync at 144hz, well this could very well be my new monitor!

Amazing. finally a monitor worth buying. I have qnix qx2710 @ 96Hz and all i can say is wow. IPS and higher hz on my monitor is amazing. Now this is officially 144hz and G-sync so none of that CRU utility crap. You know you getting 144hz and for now I think it's been long enough. I just hope this monitor is not too expensive. I will still wait for some reviews but I can bet you this may beat the ROG swift due to the IPS and 144hz.
I'm just to excited now can't wait. I can just see the people cry that bought the rog swift. Jumping early into something is not always a good thing
