$899 USD is $1173 CAD. After tax it comes out to $1325, not to mention shipping.

I know what you mean! The 2050X seems like a more rounded CPU than my 1950X thanks to the improved boost freq. Not that it's worth me switching - I'll wait and see what they do with threadripper next year!

It's £829.99 on Amazon UK, though no stock has hit any UK retailer yet, got mine on preorder 😉 Edit: Just got a notification from Amazon: " "AMD YD295XA8AFWOF Ryzen Threadripper 2950X 16 Core/21 Thread/180w/40mb Cache CPU - Black" Estimated arrival date: September 28 2018 - November 09 2018" I am disappoint! 🙁 Kinda cool it comes in black though! 😕

Really? How much are you selling yours for? I see a lot of peeps selling off their GTX1070Ti/GTX1080/GTX1080Ti in my neck of the woods for a fair bit of discount, so tempted to build myself a kickbutt rig......even though I'd be using last gen parts.
