Windows 8 PC Comes in six flavors

Following the release of Microsoft's Windows 8 Consumer Preview on Wednesday which was super quick to see over a million downloads within the first 24 hours, through some deeper investigation via the system registry it's been discovered that there will likely be no less than nine variations of the operating system when it hits shelves later this year.

Hiding (obviously not all that well) within the registry are references to nine Windows 8 SKUs. Looking closer, there appears to be two new Enterprise editions, one of which is purely for evalulation purposes. From there we can see there's the return of a Starter edition, Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional (and Professional Plus), then of course Ultimate sitting atop the pack.

Can you guess the ninth? Indeed it's ARM.
