TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A will be available in August, according to ASUS.

Asus announced today that the TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A, a 28-inch gaming monitor built for PCs and next-generation consoles, is now available for purchase.

In addition to supporting up to 4K 144 Hz gaming with a 1 ms gray to gray (GTG) response time and Display Stream Compression (DSC) technology, this 28-inch display also supports native 4K 120 Hz gaming on the latest consoles via HDMI® 2.1. It also supports native 4K 120 Hz gaming without chroma subsampling on older consoles. It is compatible with NVIDIA® G-SYNC® and AMD FreeSyncTM Premium, as well as ASUS Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync), which both help to decrease smearing and motion blur for more fluid and responsive gaming performance. The ASUS Variable Overdrive technology, which is also included, provides dependably smooth graphics even when the frame rate is changed.

Gaming views that are second to none on PC and console The TUF VG28UQL1A is equipped with an HDMI 2.1 connector, which allows for native 4K 120 Hz visuals (4:4:4) when playing on the latest gaming consoles. Input lag is reduced using an Auto-Low-Latency mode, which allows for highly fluid gameplay. Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) technology minimizes tearing and stuttering, resulting in a truly immersive next-generation console gaming experience. Also beneficial is the fact that a DisplayPortTM 1.4 connection provides stable 144 Hz graphics, with DSC technology managing ultra high-definition video streams at high speeds, so there is no discernible decrease in image quality when gaming on a PC with this connection.

The TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A's super-smooth gameplay is made possible by ASUS ELMB Sync technology and a gray-to-gray (GTG) reaction time of 1 millisecond. This technology allows for the employment of ELMB and variable refresh rate technologies simultaneously, resulting in a more fluid and responsive gameplay experience. Additionally, the monitor, which is compatible with G-SYNC, can make use of a mix of FreeSync Premium and Variable Overdrive technologies to provide ultra-smooth gaming at a variety of frame rates.

In addition, the TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A features hardware-based Low Blue Light technology, which helps to protect users' eyes from potentially harmful blue light without compromising image quality. High Dynamic Range technology with VESA DisplayHDRTM 400 certification as well as a 90 percent DCI P3 color gamut ensure outstanding color performance with the TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A. There's also Flicker-Free technology, which helps to prevent low brightness levels from resulting in high-speed flashing of the LED backlight, reducing instances of eyestrain and providing a more comfortable viewing experience for the viewer.

Update: this monitor is available now.

It is not 1440p though, it is 4K 144hz and has 2.1 HDMI connector which I suppose Your LG doesn't.

Anything below 32 inches is too small for 4K! Both great to see that HDMI 2.1 is slowly being added to PC monitors, both I shall wait for DisplayPort 2.0 before purchasing a 4K monitor

I am intrested IF it priced around 350$ which probably wont be.

Been looking for 28" 4K monitor. even if my gpu cant handle such res. I gona need new monitor sooner later less I dont get new GPU and seeing I need gpu hdmi for my TV and I only buy evga gpu that leave me with issue. of needing a monitor with DP or choosing between monitor or tv hooked up.

I will probably end up with just 60 hz 4k monitor was fastest response time possible seeing those will be in price range
