Bloomberg and DigiTimes have provided estimations. Apple is still the company's most important customer, and it will continue to be so for the foreseeable future. The fact that AMD is ahead of competitors such as Broadcom, Nvidia, and Qualcomm allows the company to negotiate better commercial terms.

Based on estimates from Bloomberg and DigiTimes, which were collated by DigiTimes, these figures have been calculated.

The corporation Apple, TSMC's largest customer, generated 25.93 percent of the foundry's income as of December 2021, mostly because the company uses TSMC's newest, most advanced, and most expensive nodes (the N5 and N5P) to manufacture hundreds of millions of its chips. MediaTek was a distant second with 5.80 percent of TSMC's earnings, but AMD was the foundry's third-largest customer, accounting for 4.39 percent of the company's earnings.

In the next years, AMD's share of TSMC's balance sheet is expected to grow as the business boosts its use of the foundry's sophisticated packaging technology and adopts the more expensive N5 CPU for its forthcoming Zen 4-based processors.
