The REALFORCE GX1 Keyboard, initially launched on March 6, 2023, will benefit from this update. The key highlights of the update include advancements in the APC setting (Actuation Point Changer), allowing users to set the ON position in 30 incremental steps from 0.1 to 3.0 mm. This represents a significant improvement over the previous four-step setting. Additionally, the Dynamic mode function has evolved to enable users to set the OFF and ON operating points in 0.1 mm increments, with default options available at 0.8/1.5/2.2/3.0 mm.

Furthermore, the update introduces the Kill Switch function, which disables simultaneous input of the A and D keys, commonly used for character movement in games. With this function, only the input pressed last will register, enhancing precision and eliminating unwanted commands. Additionally, users can now enjoy a new lighting pattern (APC) for illumination, and key map replacement supports shortcut key assignments, further enhancing customization options. Topre advises users to update their firmware to the latest version (Ver.A0.12) and install the latest software (REALFORCE CONNECT / Ver.3.2.0), which can be obtained from the official website. It should be noted that the current inventory may still have the previous firmware version. Furthermore, Topre will also release new software and firmware updates for the REALFORCE R3 Keyboard and REALFORCE R3S Keyboard on July 12th. The firmware versions will be "Ver.A0.15" for R3 and "Ver.A0.11" for R3S, while the software (REALFORCE CONNECT) will be "Ver.3.2.0". The key enhancement in these updates is the simplified procedure for changing individual APC settings to customize actuation points, as well as the support for shortcut keys through key map replacement.
