Serious Sam 4 Gets Delayed to September 24

Serious Sam 4 Gets Delayed to September 24

You know, Serious Sam always has been one of 'these games' that is nothing special, yet somehow captivating. Serious Sam 4 was planned for a release at the end of August, however, Croteam announced that the game will be released on September 24, likely more in sync with the release of new graphics cards.

Serious Sam 4 will show heaps of enemies on the screen at once again offer a level of brutality similar to what we are used to seeing in Doom. This fourth instalment of Serious Sam promises full fun: huge alien hordes, battlefields full of thousands of enemies thanks to the new Legion system and of course we will have the return of figures such as Headless Kamikaze, Beheaded Rocketeer, Kleer, Scrapjack and Werebull, along with newcomers Processed and Belcher.

No reason was given for this new delay ergo my remark, it seems to be a commercial decision on the part of the company. Well, at least the teaser trailer they made is humorous, as aways.

I just hope that they are true to their word and this harkens back to the days of FE and SE. Those other games that came after might use the same characters and monsters, but they were not the same game... And cannot wait to hear boogers voice again as Sam.
