Sapphire outs updated Radeon RX 590 NITRO+ (OC)
Sapphire has released an updated SKU in the Nitro series for the Radeon RX 590. The new Nitro+ OC model sees a bit of an aesthetic tweak with a completely black shroud.
The 2304 Stream processors fitted graphics card otherwise follows the same similar cooling design (Dual-X cooler). There is no change in specifications otherwise. The boost clock is 1,560 MHz, the memory clock 8,400 MHz, memory bus width 256 bit and it has 8 GB video memory (GDDR5). The interface is PCI - Express 3.0 (x16) and the card is fed by 8+6 pin power connectors. The output interface shows DisplayPort 1.4 ×2, HDMI 2.0 b ×2, and Dual Link DVI-D ×1.

What's chance that chips which did not pass binning for RX-590 are going to be in RX-580. There may be quite a few power efficient chips now.

It would be illogical, think about AMD's profits. RX 590 should be and correctly it is more expensive than rival's GTX 1060 because it is much faster in every game and application, it can't get any lower than that. There is always the option of RX 580, it is still for sale as RX 500 series gpu.

$279.99 US for sapphire, xfx, or powercolor from newegg. Seems like a pretty good price. Middle of the road price for middle of the road performance. 250 would be better, for sure.

Sapphire makes the best ati/amd cards in my opinion. I certainly have had good results with them. Gonna snag one of these for sure.
