Samsung Shows Foldable Smartphone in Video

Samsung Shows Foldable Smartphone in Video

It's been topic of discussion for a while now, and it seems right. Samsung has released a promotional video in which, apparently, new products such as the foldable Samsung Galaxy Fold can be spotted. The video also shows a smartphone that looks like the Galaxy S10 and a tablet with no visible screen frame.

The video seems to give an outlook on upcoming Samsung products. It shows, for example, a women who takes an ultrasound image of her stomach with her smartphone and an ultrasound sensor.

The smartphone used with the almost borderless screen and the three cameras arranged next to each other on the back strongly reminds of the Samsung Galaxy S10 , which only recently revealed itself on official press photos . The video also demonstrates the augmented reality capabilities of a smartphone. Several people try to defeat a virtual fantasy creature together.

The video also shows a woman opening a smartphone, creating a larger screen area. Interestingly enough, the smaller backwards screen continues to be active. However, it is questionable whether Samsung shows the final Galaxy Foldable Smartphone , or just gives an idea of what the final product might look like.

The successor to the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 in the making?

Furthermore, a tablet can be seen, which has no visible screen edges and can be operated with a pen. The website Allaboutsamsung assumes that it could possibly be the successor to the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 .

Most of the products shown in the video should be officially shown on February 20, 2019. On this day, Samsung is hosting a Galaxy Event, showcasing the latest products.
