The Samsung Q80C series has been broadened with the introduction of a new 98-inch model, displaying 4K resolution.

This is the most substantial display size in Samsung's QLED television lineup thus far, reflecting the company's commitment to enhancing viewing experiences using their proprietary QLED technology. The 98-inch Samsung Q80C model, priced at 7,999 euros, will be available for purchase from July 1. For a limited period, an accompanying Dolby Atmos Soundbar (HW-Q930C model) will be included with the TV package.

The new Q80C model is engineered with a sleek and slim design, while boasting significant audio attributes. Sound technologies incorporated into the model, including Dolby Atmos and Object Tracking Sound, construct a three-dimensional auditory environment, amplified by Q-symphony, which achieves synchronous harmony with the visual content.

Powered by a 4K Neural Quantum processor, the television utilizes artificial intelligence to augment upscaling capabilities, improving depth and sharpness perception. In addition, Quantum HDR+ technology regulates black levels and brightness, and Quantum Dot technology enables accurate color reproduction, adhering to Pantone standards, even in high-brightness scenes. The television also prioritizes viewer comfort, offering an EyeComfort mode that adjusts brightness and color settings in response to ambient light conditions and natural daylight cycles. This mode further moderates blue light emissions to mitigate potential eye strain.

In terms of functionality, the Smart Hub user interface enables direct access to an array of applications, including the Xbox Cloud Gaming app. High-performance gaming features are also included, such as Motion Xcelerator Turbo+ technology, which operates to reduce motion blur while ensuring fluid image transitions at up to 120Hz in 4K mode. Other gaming support features comprise FreeSync Premium Plus and HDR compatibility. Furthermore, the integration of Philips Hue Sync allows for coordination of external lighting with visual content displayed on the screen.
