Nvidia appears to be working on a new flagship in the RTX 3000 series. A source asserts that the green camp is in the process of developing the RTX 3090 Super, which may be released in the near future.

A GeForce RTX 3090 Super, with 10,752 CUDA cores, 21 GBit/s RAM, and a total graphics power of 450 watts is speculated to be in the works, according to the leaker. The RTX 3090 has 10,496 CUDA cores, whereas the RTX 3090 Super has 10,752 CUDA cores, making the RTX 3072 somewhat faster. Clocks have not yet been determined, it is likely that the addition of 256 cores will not make a significant impact in performance. Higher consumption may suggest faster clock speeds, yet more power is also necessary for quicker memory, which is why the consumption is higher. The fact that there would be RTX 30 cards with 21 Gbit/s RAM was already noted by Micron earlier in the year. An RTX 3090 was then announced by the memory manufacturer, with a memory speed ranging between 19 and 21 GBit/s. The Gddr6x memory used by the first version of the RTX 3090 that Nvidia published had a speed of 19.5Gbit/s. If the RTX 3090 Super would come with 21GBit/s memory, the memory bandwidth will climb to 1008GB/s, a significant boost. With the RTX 3090, this translates to 936GB/s of bandwidth.

Update

After hearing reports regarding various new Nvidia graphics cards, including an RTX 2060 12GB and an RTX 3090 Super, hongxing2020 filter now claimed that the debut of these two graphics cards, as well as an RTX 3070 Ti 16GB, has already been confirmed internally by the company. in the month of January 2022 According to prior speculations, the RTX 2060 12GB and RTX 3070 Ti 16GB will retain the same characteristics as their original models, with the exception of the VRAM, which will be increased by two times. The amount of Cuda Cores, frequencies, TDP, and other characteristics would all remain same.

The RTX 3090 Super will differ from the ordinary RTX 3090 in a number of ways, the most notable of which are its 10752 Cuda Cores instead of 10496 and its 21Gbps GDDR6X VRAM, as opposed to the 19.5Gbps used by the standard model. Aside from that, there has been speculation that it will not include NVLink, therefore putting an end to the technology.
