Rumor: Intel Arc desktop cards further delayed into even Q3?
Leaker Enthusiast Citizen claims Intel has postponed the availability of its Arc desktop GPUs until the second or third quarter.
The leaker claims the desktop Arc launch will be late Q2 or early Q3. After all, Intel has only confirmed a 'Limited Edition' for this summer, with no other desktop parts revealed. Earlier reports put the film's release in May or early June. According to a recent Geekbench result, the video cards may use additional improvement.
The leaker also released details on Arc's next desktop models. Beginning with the A770, A750, and A580. The A770 should outperform the RTX 3060 Ti, albeit the amount of RAM is unknown. Intriguingly, "Citizen" reveals Intel's plans for the Arc A750 part. As previously suggested by various leaks, this SKU is expected to include 448 Xe Vector Engines (Execution Units) (some originating at Intel). Along with the A580, this part would include 8GB of GDDR6 memory. According to the source, the slowest desktop portion, codenamed A380, would deliver Radeon RX 6400 performance.
Still no word about the desktop Arcs. An employee recently mentioned that the cards would be distributed this quarter. Two weeks ago, a teaser teased "Intel Arc A-Series Limited Edition Graphics" for this summer.

I think that is what they are trying to sell. "Don't buy our competitors stuff as prices are finally coming down, our new cool stuff is almost here....eventually.....in Q3.....just you wait and save your $."

Delayed again!?
Not a good way to launch a new product...
If Intel is not careful, their GPU ambitions are going to be over even before they start to sell the actual product...

I have seen some rumours/speculation that crypto mining might gain a new boost later in the year, so maybe Intel is aiming for that. It would look good in the stock owners' eyes if every single card was sold before it even reached store shelves.
