Chinese computer manufacturer PowerLeader has unveiled its new Powerstar P3-01105 processor, featuring the 'Storm Core' architecture, which promises exceptional performance.

The x86 compatible processor offers robust Windows support and houses four cores and eight threads, closely resembling the Intel Core i3 10105 Comet Lake CPU. Although no official partnership with Intel has been announced, a Twitter user pointed out several similarities between the two processors, including a comparable heat spreader, substrate design, and matching QR code.

The PowerLeader processor's name mirrors that of the Core i3 10105, albeit with a slightly altered number sequence. It is designed for a base clock frequency of 3.7 GHz and targets annual sales of 1.5 million units. Powerstar P3-01105 is specifically crafted for everyday desktop users and is well-suited for various industry applications, including government, education, energy, finance, healthcare, and retail.

Li Ruijie, Chairman of Baode Group, PowerLeader's parent company, announced the upcoming launch of their first-generation Baode Powerstar burst core chip products. The company aspires to become China's top computing product and solution provider by offering advanced computing power products, solutions, and comprehensive stack services.

Currently, the processor series' parameter information is unavailable on Baode's official website. Nonetheless, the company has showcased the PC PT620P, based on the Baode Powerstar chip, asserting its remarkably high performance—multiple times higher than domestic CPUs—and support for seamless switching between various systems such as Windows and domestic operating systems.
