PNY XLR8 CS3040 M2 NVMe Pushes Towards 5600 MB/sec

PNY Technologies announced that it will start selling the NVMe M.2 SSD "XLR8 CS3040" series with PCI-Express4.0 (x4) connection for the residential market.

The lineup includes a large heat sink model and a heat sinkless model, all of which have capacities of 500GB, 1TB, and 2TB.

The maximum transfer speed is 5,600MB / sec for sequential reading and 4,300MB / sec for writing (2,600MB / sec for 500GB), and 3D NAND is used for NAND flash. The form factor is M.2 2280 and the product warranty is 5 years.

CS900 M.2
In PNY, the 4TB model of NVMe M.2 SSD "CS2130" with PCI-Express3.0 (x4) connection, the 4TB model of "XLR8 CS3030" , and the M.2 form of SATA3.0 (6Gbsp) SSD "CS900" . We plan to add factor models such as the "CS900 M.2" .

PNY from personal experience, makes some pretty nice components. In this case, the heatsink model looks great.
