PlayStation 4 Release Dates Revealed
The word is out, PlayStation 4 will release on November 29th, 2013 in Europe and November 15 in the US and Canada. Revealed during Sony's Gamescom 2013 press conference, the $400 next-gen console's date will compete with Microsoft's November release window for Xbox One. PlayStation 4 has already surpassed 1 million pre-orders worldwide. It will launch in 32 countries.
The release date announcement was yet another jab at Microsoft. The company recently announced delays for the Xbox One in a number of regions.
Where it is releasing, the Xbox One is also slated for a November launch. Both systems promise strong launch lineups with more news promised before release. House’s jabs at Microsoft didn’t have quite the sting they had at E3, and I wonder if the rivalry card has simply been played out at this point. Old jabs are like old jokes. We’ve heard them before and hearing them again they don’t seem quite as good.
Microsoft may deserve a dig or two for flip-flopping on used games and an internet connection requirement, but their policy reversals have certainly helped inoculate the company from this sort of attack. Sony also announced a price-cut for the PS Vita and a $199 12GB PS3 today.

There's many console gamers where i work, i'm looking forwards to the release of them both and hope it'll be an exciting time for them all.
these same words could be said sarcastically but i trully mean it, i rave about graphics non stop to them but you really gotta see dx11 next-gen in full flow to see what the fuss is about.
*for example that part in Metro LL where you're running through a moving train with all the cloth physx and lightrays in your face.

PlayStation 4 Release Dates Revealed
I have stuck with PC gaming for many years now not bothering with consoles. I played my mates wii u on COD and found that to be enjoyable, also lego city and other titles not available for pc. I know a lot of good titles dont make it to pc, this is the reason I am tempted to buy one of these. A powerful console ready made sounds tempting, as I use my pc for film music etc, would be easier than having to shell out £1000 on a new machine, I worked it out this might be a better solution.
