RTX Voice can now also be used on GeForce GTX graphics cards in a completely official way, without having to modify files and rivers. The change occurred quietly, allowing any GTX or RTX GPU with NVIDIA 410.18 or later drivers to use this feature.

RTX Voice was initially promoted as an exclusive RTX graphics card feature (hence its name). NVIDIA explained at the time that the feature would work only on their newer GPUs because they needed Tensor Cores to be used . That however was not the case, since some users run the program on their GTX graphics modifying some files. That modding started here in the Guru3D forums actually. Now, the company officially launched support.

RTX Voice uses the processing power of your graphics card to improve microphone performance through an algorithm. The feature has been highly appreciated, primarily for its ability to filter out background noise. With the release of RTX Voice also on GTX GPUs, even GTX 600 series cards can now use the feature.
