The market started to anticipate that NVIDIA may modify the MSRP (manufacturer's recommended retail price) of the GeForce RTX 30 series shortly, and on the evening of July 13, media received new pricing from international channels.

The GeForce RTX 3090 Ti has the most price reduction based on the most recent MSRP. Initially, NVIDIA's recommended pricing for the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti was $1,999, with a price ceiling of $2,199 for this graphics card. However, one can guess the sales reaction... Possibly as a result of this, NVIDIA is riding the summer's fresh wave. The price was reduced from $1,999 to $1,499 during the event, allowing the GeForce RTX 3090, GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, and GeForce RTX 3080 12GB to be modified correspondingly.

There is no MSRP for the GeForce RTX 3080 12GB, however, the increased MSRP makes it significantly more competitive. This wave of NVIDIA activities may target chipsets now held by AIC partners and with large channel inventories, i.e. GeForce RTX 3080 12GB and above; from our perspective, this wave of downgrades may be the beginning of NVIDIA for GeForce RTX. The introduction of the 40 series paves the way. In contrast, the fiscal second quarter financial report for NVIDIA will be finalized by the end of July. It is thought that this quarter's performance may fall short of expectations. At this time, NVIDIA may consider implementing a promotional scheme to assist AIC partners with initiating Pull manufacturing.

Currently, the pricing on NVIDIA's official US website has not changed, and the source has not confirmed the debut date of the new price. However, based on NVIDIA's previous activities, the new price could be introduced this week. Regardless of whether final customers will accept this wave of price reductions by NVIDIA or continue to wait for a more acceptable pricing in the "waiting party," relevant debates should soon be available in different discussion forums.
