New AMD Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise

New AMD Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise

AMD is releasing the newest version of its enterprise driver, the AMD Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q2, enabling users to take better advantage of remote workstations – a practice which is quickly becoming increasingly commonplace to allow more flexibility in projects – and accelerating performance in today’s most widely used professional applications.

IT managers know that keeping professional software up-to-date is critical for enterprise security and workstation stability. With a focus on improving and simplifying the experience for both on-site and remote enterprise professionals, Radeon Pro Graphics with the new AMD Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise driver lets users take full advantage of new capabilities, including:

  • AMD Remote Workstation – Offers access to the full GPU-accelerated experience a workstation provides from any location with virtually no performance degradation, as demonstrated on the SPECviewperf 13 “3dsmax-06” benchmark by remotely accessing an AMD Radeon Pro WX 4100graphics-powered workstation.

  • Incredible performance optimisations – The Radeon Pro WX 7100 outpaces the NVIDIA Quadro RTX 4000 by about 51 percent in Siemens NX 10.0.
  • Universal support for mission critical design & productivity workflows – AMD Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise has over 750 ISV certifications since the start of AMD’s Day Zero Certification Program and is ready to support the Windows 10 May 2019 Update.
  • Incredible multitasking – Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q2 offers Radeon Pro graphics cards users incredible multitasking performance in high-demand environments. Unlike the competitive solution, which suffered a 39 percent performance hit on the demanding SPECviewperf 13 benchmark with the Prime95 CPU “stress test” running in the background, the performance of the Radeon Pro WX 4100 remained steady (demonstrating only a minor change in performance, about one percent).

For more information on what Radeon Pro Software for Enterprise 19.Q2 offers IT and enterprise professionals, check out the blog post here.

It's PRO driver and Radeon VII is not a Pro product, despite there is equivalent in Radeon Pro... maybe you can mod the driver but you will gain nothing on normal card.

I was referring to AMD's ANN that they will add Radeon VII in future Radeon Pro driver (without the certification and such) - if you remember there was a table with details.
