MSI Unveils MEG 342C QD-OLED Curved Gaming Display for Retail Market

The MEG 342C QD-OLED is a 34.18-inch ultrawide quad high-definition (UWQHD) curved gaming display with a resolution of 3,440 x 1,440 dots. The estimated market price for the MEG 342C QD-OLED is around €1,400 and it will be available for purchase in April.



The MEG 342C QD-OLED has an organic EL panel that utilizes quantum dot technology to provide a high-speed response time of 0.1 ms and a refresh rate of 175 Hz. It also features DisplayHDR True Black 400 that can express jet black, making it perfect for gamers. Additionally, it supports the top AMD FreeSync Premium Pro sync technology.

This gaming display features night vision to improve visibility in dark scenes, a KVM switch that allows you to switch keyboards, mice, and displays between two PCs, 65W USB PD that can charge a notebook PC simultaneously, anti-flicker to reduce screen flickering, and hardware blue light cut that cuts blue light without changing the color.

The MEG 342C QD-OLED has a curvature of 1,800R, a color gamut of 100% sRGB, AdobeRGB 97.8%, DCI-P3 coverage of 99.3%, maximum display color of about 1,073 million colors, a brightness of 250cd/m2 (1,000 at peak), a contrast ratio of 1,000,000:1, and a 178° horizontal/vertical viewing angle. The interface includes HDMI 2.1 x 1, DisplayPort 1.4a x 1, USB Type-C (DP Alt Mode / USB PD) x 1, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-A x 4, USB 3.1 Gen 1 Type-B x 1, headphone output 1 x Mic Input, and 1 x Audio Combo Jack. The stand supports -5 to 20° tilt and 100mm height adjustment. The body size is 814 mm wide, 293 mm deep, 463 mm high, and weighs about 9.3 kg.

The G32C4X, also set to release on April 27, is a 31.5-inch full high-definition (HD) curved gaming liquid crystal display with a curvature of 1500R. The estimated market price for the G32C4X is around €340. The liquid crystal panel is a VA method, the response speed is 1ms, and the refresh rate is 250Hz. Additionally, it supports AMD FreeSync Premium sync technology. The G32C4X has an sRGB coverage rate of 97.72%, DCI-P3 coverage rate of 91.08%, maximum display color of about 1,073 million colors, a brightness of 300 cd/m2, a contrast ratio of 3,000:1, and a horizontal/vertical viewing angle of 178°. The interface includes HDMI 2.0b x 2, DisplayPort 1.2a x 1, and headphone output x 1. The stand supports -5 to 20° tilt adjustment, and the body size is 709.4 mm wide, 248.7 mm deep, 509.4 mm high, and weighs about 6.25 kg.
