MSI releases More Budget Friendly Single Fan GeForce GTX 1060 6G OC

It is not to confuse with the Armor model, this GeForce GTX 1060 6G OC has a slightly overclocked core and a single fan based cooling solution. Size wise it could fit into a Micro ATX or even Mini ITX build. The new OC edition has a boost clock at 1759 MHz.

Based on NVIDIA's Pascal architecture, the MSI GeForce GTX 1060 ARMR 6G OC is now released as well. The card has three DisplayPort 1.4 outputs in addition to an HDMI 2.0b output and a DVI-D Dual-Link output. The GTX 1060 is not just about high-resolution gaming. Computationally intensive programs can utilize the GPU's 1280 cores to accelerate tasks using CUDA or other APIs.

  • NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060:
  • CUDA Cores: 1280
  • Base Clock: 1544 MHz
  • Boost Clock: 1759 MHz
  • Memory clock: 8008 / 6GB GDDR5

The card has 4 GPU power phases and comes with an 6-pin power connector. For cooling this GPU also utilizes MSI ZeroFrozr technology to eliminate fan noise by stopping the fans in low-load situations. This 6GB model sells in the 239~249 USD range.
