MSI launches two types of GeForce RTX 3060, GAMING X and VENTUS 2X

MSI announced its two dual-fan NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 cards including "GeForce RTX 3060 GAMING X 12G" and "GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X 12G OC".

A new graphics card with the latest middle range GPU GeForce RTX 3060 with NVIDIA Ampere architecture. Both adopt a powerful original dual fan cooler.

"GeForce RTX 3060 GAMING X 12G" is a high-end model equipped with a double fan cooler "TWIN FROZR 8" that incorporates the latest MSI technology such as "Torx Fan 4.0" and "Core Pipe". In addition, it has an aluminum back plate on the back, and its high cooling performance allows you to maximize the performance of the GPU. The main specifications are 3,584 CUDA cores, boost clock 1,837MHz, memory speed 15Gbps, memory bus width 192bit, equipped with GDDR6 12GB video memory. The output interface is equipped with 4 systems, DisplayPort x3 and HDMI 2.1 x 1. The bus interface is PCI-Express4.0 (x16), and the auxiliary power connector is 8 + 6pin. The external dimensions are 276 mm in length, 131 mm in width, 51 mm in thickness, and 996 g in weight. A detailed review of this product will be available in the near future.


"GeForce RTX 3060 VENTUS 2X 12G OC" is a lower model equipped with a dual fan cooler by "Torx fan 3.0". The main specifications are 3,584 CUDA cores, boost clock 1,807MHz, memory speed 15Gbps, memory bus width 192bit, equipped with GDDR6 12GB video memory. The output interface is equipped with 4 systems, DisplayPort x3 and HDMI 2.1 x 1. The bus interface is PCI-Express4.0 (x16), and the auxiliary power connector is 8pin x1. The external dimensions are 235 mm in length, 124 mm in width, 42 mm in thickness, and 675 g in weight.

In the Global MSI page there are 10 models, of which 2 are Gaming Trio, 2 are Gaming, 2 are Ventus 3X, 2 are Aero and 2 are Ventus 2X.

So they basically have more models than stock.

ALL these tech sites should stop reviewing and promoting these cards from nvidia and AMD until they actually become readily available to the general public, I can't help but believe there's something very fishy about the availability of these cards from both companies.
