MSI Also Reveals Trident X Series SFF Gaming Desktops

MSI continues to innovate its desktop product line and has built upon its strong heritage of delivering the first desktop built for Pro gamers. Today, MSI proudly introduces the brand new Trident X Series with the latest MSI GeForce RTX 2080 graphics card and the Intel 9th Gen Core K series processors.

The MSI Trident X series is the first compact desktop PC to incorporate an SFX power supply and the breathtaking latest MSI GeForce RTX graphics card, into a case only 10 liters in volume. Trident X series targeted gamers who demand the highest game performance from PC. With the Intel 9th Gen Core K series processors and MSI GeForce RTX graphics card, Trident X series can provide impressive performance for any task including gaming and video editing.

We know professional gamers require intense processing power and expect their devices to reflect who they are, that is, Powerful, Professional and multitasking. The Intel 9th Gen Core K series processors in Trident X provide 50% more performance than the previous generation. On top of the state-of-art technology and refined design, Trident X is the ultimate platform for Pro gamers who enjoy multitasking. On the other hand, in response to the feedback MSI collected from its users, MSI has carefully selected and tweaked the components within Trident X to achieve the best performance for hardcore gaming while streaming.

After the release in 2017, the design of MSI's tempered glass side panel has been well praised by its customers. Trident X series will carry the legacy with its door-like tempered glass side panel. Once customers changed the native metal side panel with the tempered glass one, they can easily pull the glass panel open like a door, which allows them to upgrade the CPU, memories or hard drive without hustle. The mash design on the bottom part of the glass also helps ventilate the heat from CPU, giving Trident X series long-term sustainability. What's even better is that the CPU RGB fan could be seen through the glass panel, giving Trident X series a strong yet gentle look.

With users' convenience in heart, MSI is always trying to create the most intuitive design possible. Trident X series is designed with all the major components on the sides of its chassis, making it easy for users to change them. All you have to do is to remove the four screws in the back, and the metal cover on both sides will become easy to take off. Taking off the panel on the right will allow you to change the CPU, memories and hard drive, or for switching itself to the tempered glass panel. The left one is for accessing the VGA. The reason for designing the CPU, memories and hard drive on the same side comes from the notion that users change memories and hard drive much more often.

The unique "Silent Storm Cooling" thermal system utilizes three separate airflows to individually cool different components within Trident X when you are live streaming and playing your favorite hardcore games. The performance that this unique cooling system enables makes Trident X ideal for AAA game title and social broadcasting or any other multitasks.

Trident X series preserves the mysterious breathing light design that was first used in Trident 3 Arctic. The lights have been further optimized from the original pure color design into three different light strings that give layers to their glows. Users can customize the light effect through built-in software, making it shine based on different modes including static, breathing or audio mode. When playing shooting games, the light changes when it detects the sound signal in the game; brightens up as players fire the shot, as if it is cheering for the incoming triumph. Together with the built-in RGB lights on the fans of the CPU and graphics card, Trident X series will have the look that matches gamers' heart.
