Mountain Releases Makalu 67 Gaming Mouse at 19000 DPI

Mountain Releases Makalu 67 Gaming Mouse at 19000 DPI

Honestly, we stopped caring at about 8000 DPI and afterwards, but stickers on boxes do matter I guess. Mountain, a startup introduces its first-ever gaming mouse, the light-weight Makalu 67, featuring PixArt's new PMW3370 sensor with up to 19,000 DPI, 1-2 mm lift-off-distance and 0.5% error rate.

With 67g of weight, Makalu 67 offers a mid-to-large sized gaming mouse at the weight level of much smaller gaming mice, building upon a unique rib cage design that trims unnecessary weight while offering a rigid structure with maximum comfort. This has been achieved without sacrificing structural integrity. Makalu 67 is built to withstand 5 kg of force to avoid accidental button actuation by grabbing the body too tightly if things get a little heated.

Features and Specifications

  • 67 g light-weight ergonomic design
  • PixArt PMW3370 sensor
    • 19000 DPI
    • 1-2 mm lift-off-distance
    • 0.5% error rate
    • 400 IPS
  • OMRON 50M switches
  • Unique ribcage design for ultimate stability
  • Mountain Lifeline cable - "The last stop before wireless"
  • 100% PTFE feet
  • Base Camp software for ultimate customization

100% PTFE feet guarantee the best possible gliding experience while 50M Omron switches are being used to ensure reliable and satisfying clicks for years to come. Bordering on magic, Makalu 67's Mountain Lifeline cable goes where no mouse cable has gone before in terms of flexibility, making it the last stop before going wireless.

Pricing and Availability: EUR 59.99 / USD 59.99, October 2020 (tentative), and can we just say something odd, don't they look a bit like Crocs?

In a time where i can have a wireless device allowing global communication, why does my mouse need to be wired?
even the little higher weight of something like a 903 is still less than most wired gaming mice,
and with the power mat no cord at all, no even charging...

"high quality omron switches" why not put the damn opticals in there and its the perfect mouse im running a redragon for 15 euros with optical switches for 1 year and a half and not even a single double click issue.

I like button placement on side, kind said it dont have thumb button does it atlest have 4 way scroll button? as far as I concerned you can call it game mouse with out 4 way scroll button. Not sure I like the whole rib "cage" like design though, that gona be pain in ass to clean crevices like that.

Wired is still the way to go.

Looks like a promising product for serious FPS players

If it's more than £30 though I'll laugh it out of my thoughts
