Microsoft adds 3 new colors to Surface Laptop 4 - based on Ryzen 5 processors

Microsoft added new colors black, ice blue, and sandstone to the 13.5-inch notebook PC Surface Laptop 4, these are based on AMD's Ryzen 5 processors.

New color variations of black, ice blue, and sandstone have been added to Microsoft's 13.5-inch notebook PC "Surface Laptop 4" equipped with Ryzen 5 4680U.  Sandstone - All have the same specifications, the LCD is a 13.5-inch PixelSense display compatible with 10-point multi-touch and Surface pen, the resolution is 2,256 x 1,504 dots, and the aspect ratio is 3: 2. It has 16GB of memory and 256GB SSD for storage.

Interfaces include USB Type-Cx1, USB Type-Ax1, 3.5mm headphone jack x1, Surface Connect port x1, Windows Hello compatible camera, etc. The nominal battery capacity is 47.4Wh and the continuous drive time is up to 19 hours. The external dimensions are width 308 mm, depth 223 mm, thickness 14.5 mm, 1,288 g. The preinstalled OS is Windows 10 Home.

The estimated price ex vat is 1.029 Euro.

I suppose that they have the same glue color inside, because Surface manufacturers thought that screws are so expensive that they used glue all over. Try to repair it, and you'll 100% fail to open it without ripping it apart.

The Surface are great devices. They got a lot of the tablet to PC mix right. It has finally caught up to my current 8 year old desktop PC in terms of raw power... lol.

Still, for the form factor, it is a good balance running off batteries. Hope the quality is better though because I hear horror stories about reliability.

Maybe I will look into a Lenovo "Thinkpad" version if the build quality is still there.
